Comedy built at episode scale
Der Lack ist ab (The Glory Is Gone) is Kai Wiesinger's relationship comedy about a couple and the domestic friction of midlife. Its short episodes depend on economical scenes, clear comic timing, and continuity across an expanding ensemble and several seasons.
Editing and supervising a continuing series
Across 51 episodes, Daniel worked as editor and post-production supervisor. The role combined the close work of shaping individual scenes with the larger responsibility of keeping material, handovers, revisions, and deliveries coherent across a recurring production.
Avid Media Composer provided the editorial backbone. Repetition at this scale makes organization part of the creative work: established rhythms must remain recognizable while each episode still needs its own movement and escalation.
Experience that transfers
The series demonstrates Tiptoe's ability to move between creative editing and delivery-minded post-production. That combination is useful for television, serialized documentary, and any production where multiple episodes, collaborators, and deadlines must remain aligned.
